A higher score indicates stronger estimated underlying team performance in the current model. The score is comparative and should be read with its rank scope, evidence window and confidence.

World Power is Ressq’s cross-competition team-strength signal. It adjusts evidence for opposition and competition context so a strong result is interpreted relative to who played, not counted in isolation.
What it does not mean
It does not guarantee the higher-rated team wins. Match-specific venue, players, lineups, tactics and randomness still matter.
Ranking scope
Team pages identify global club rank and the relevant competition peer group. Missing or provisional ranks are shown as unavailable rather than as an unexplained number.
How it enters predictions
World Power is one input/context layer inside broader prediction and simulation systems. It is combined with current match and player evidence rather than used as a single deterministic rule.
